以下是转发Longmont亚太协会收到的一封招募短期家务助理的请求,主要工作是和雇主及孩子用中文交谈,有兴趣可以联络[email protected] ,谢谢。Hello,
I am not sure if your organization will be able to help, but I was not sure how to reach the Chinese community hear in Boulder and surrounding areas. My 7 year old daughter and I have been learning mandarin for the past few years. Given my daughter's schedule, she only has time for learning one hour a week. That is not enough to make an impact. We have considered the sunday school but in the winters, she and her father go skiing on sundays. So we are thinking the best way to get 'immersed' in chinese is to find a part time chinese housekeeper. We have a friend from Hong Kong who has this set up and it's wonderful as their kids all now speak mandarin. I am trying to find out how I can advertise for a native Chinese speaking housekeeper who can be with us (and even live with us a few nights a week). We were thinking that staying with us a few nights a week would help make it a natural way to be around and be exposed to speaking and hearing chinese. Also, we need our house kept up and cleaned/organized weekly, so we would like to find someone who is chinese speaking who may be interested in a part - time opportunity to earn some extra money on the side, but who is experienced in cleaning homes and not averse to that. Anyway, this position would be ideal for a little bit of an older lady who may or may not be alone and who enjoys children. Is there any place to advertise such a position to give it exposure to the Chinese community here in Boulder or surrounding areas? Is there a bulletin board somewhere where one can advertise or a local newspaper or website? We would really appreciate any advice on how to get the word out to help us find someone who we would like to start in late August. Thanks for you help. Comments are closed.
